AM Inbox: Themed email series

RetailEmail.Blogspot monitors the email marketing campaigns of more than 100 of the top online retailers. Here are highlights from our inbox this morning:

Saks Fifth Avenue, 9/14 — WANT IT! Men's Fall Trends Part 2 + Sweepstakes!
Saks sent out the second in what it clearly labeled a two-part series on Men’s fall fashion trends. The fact that the labeled the emails “Part 1” and “Part 2” is somewhat unusual. Part 1 went out yesterday under the subject line WANT IT! Men’s Fall Trends Part 1 + Sweepstakes! Neiman Marcus did an email series last month that makes for an interesting contrast to this. They did a four-part series:
