RetailEmail.Blogspot turns 1 year old today!
On June 15, 2006, the first AM Inbox post debuted on this blog. I’d been publishing some general email marketing news since that February, but this was really the start of what is now RetailEmail.Blogspot. Since that first AM Inbox, I’ve published 351 additional posts, including 237 AM Inboxes, 42 Week-End Trends, 24 Ping Times, 15 reportlets, 11 Season Finales and 5 research reports. I sincerely hope that you’ve enjoyed all the content and that it has helped you to better do your job. There’s much more to come in the year ahead.
All of this would not have been possible without the support of the Email Experience Council, of which I am now happily a part. So a big thanks to the EEC’s tireless founder, Jeanniey Mullen—and also to Dylan Boyd at eROI, Mark Brownlow at Email Marketing Reports and Tamara Gielen at Email Marketing Best Practices, who were also very supportive during my formative months. And, of course, a big thanks to my wife, Kate, who put up with me working lots of late nights and long weekends to get RetailEmail.Blogspot on its feet and running.
I’d also like to thank all my readers for their continued support, and I’d encourage those who are not already EEC members to learn about membership. Consider it a birthday wish.
