Down at the bottom of this email is the first mention of Sears’ “There’s a Craftsman in all of us” campaign. The centerpiece of this campaign is a skeleton constructed of Craftsman tools. It’s really impressive and cool-looking. So my question is: Where was this earlier in the Halloween season? Why are subscribers just now, on Halloween itself, seeing this for the first time? And as a secondary item buried at the bottom of the email, no less? It doesn’t seem like a good maximization of marketing materials.

Norm Thompson, 10/31 — More Crocs(TM)...more styles...more colors!
Norm Thompson constructs a giant 6-frame animated gif to promote the many styles of Chocs that are now available. It goes a little fast, but the messaging is clear, with jumbo-sized print for the product descriptors, clear product shots, the Choc logo and a different Christmas ornament on each frame, all on white backgrounds. The gif links to a landing page with all the Choc styles on it, so the follow-through is clear as well.
