RetailEmail.Blogspot monitors the email marketing campaigns of more than 100 of the top online retailers. Here are highlights from our inbox this morning:
Bass Pro Shops, 12/25 — $4.95 Shipping When You Redeem Your Gift Card
Just like last year, Bass Pro Shops is incentivizing subscribers to redeem their gift cards by offering them discounted shipping when they do. This year, Sports Authority is also incentivizing gift card redemptions, offering an extra 10% off gift card purchases. There’s also been many, many more emails telling subscribers not to forget to redeem their gift cards and take advantage of after-Christmas sales.
Finish Line, 12/24 — END OF SEASON SALE--Up To 65% Off Select Styles!
Finish Line gave their subscribers a heads up on their after-Christmas deals. DisneyShopping did the same thing, although they allowed subscribers to take advantage of Dec. 26 deals on Dec. 24 through their email.
Ralph Lauren, 12/25 — Warmest Wishes From RalphLauren.com
Approximately 10% of the largest online retailers sent non-promotional Christmas greetings this year, but Ralph Lauren was the only one to send a video greeting.
Sephora, 12/24 — Sephora's Guide to Pretty Partying
This email from Sephora is the first to exclusively focus on New Year’s—in this case, how to look your best for New Year’s parties.

I love Smith-Harmon's enthusiasm. It's so great to have a connection with people who really "get" and get excited by email marketing. (Truly, there are not that many of us out there!) I count myself very lucky to have found such accomplished enthusiasts to collaborate with on the REI program. They are helping to bring amazing opportunities to fruition with panache.
