This is a good example of a retailer beginning to shift from web fulfillment to store fulfillment and incentivizing the shift with a qualified giveaway in their stores.

Linens ’n Things, 12/18 — Pay No Shipping on Last Minute Gifts
The subject line here is a pretty misleading since no retailer charges for their ship-to-store service; however, it does communicate the savings that ship-to-store programs offer, especially in the run up to Christmas. Coach also mentioned their ship-to-store service in their email yesterday.
