What you get when you follow me on Twitter

I’ve found Twitter to be an interesting mix of micro-blogging and instant messaging. It gives me a chance to quickly share thoughts, comments and links that I don’t on my blog. If you check me out on Twitter, you’ll see that I tweet three to five times a day and keep the vast majority of my tweets related to email marketing and retailers’ campaigns. My tweet stream includes:

● Comments about the email programs of retailers, even those I don’t formally track (example)
● Quotes and tidbits from industry events I attend (example)
● Snippets from conversations I have with email marketers and reporters (example)
● News from my involvement at the Email Experience Council (example)
● Replies to and retweets of others in the industry (example)
● Links to columns I’ve written and articles I’m quoted in (example)
● And, of course, links to my posts on the Retail Email Blog (example)
