The Retail Email Index: Top online retailers sent each of their subscribers 2.2 promotional emails on average during the week ending Mar. 5, 2010. That’s flat week-over-week, on par from where it was four weeks ago, and up 11% year-over-year.

The Retail Email Participation Rate: Friday was the most popular day to send retail emails last week.

The Retail Email Seasonality Meter: St. Patrick’s Day references will pick up this week and peak the next. Then retailers will focus their attention on Easter.
