A look back on seasonal trends, email activity and standout B2C marketing:

Start to finish: The first reference to Labor Day was on Aug. 15. The final reference was on Tuesday, Sept. 7. The biggest day for Labor Day emails was Friday, Sept. 3, although Sunday, Sept. 5, and Monday, Sept. 6, were nearly as popular. Retailers sent the majority of their Labor Day-themed emails after Sept. 2.
