Looks like email designers have yet another email platform to be wary of: the Nook Color. Rebranding it as a tablet instead of an e-reader, Barnes & Noble touts the Nook Color’s “full-featured email” capabilities in this email.
Macy’s, 4/26 — Friends & Family online today: extra 25% off + Free Shipping!
This Macy’s email does several things very well: First, there’s a nice reminder of their every-day free shipping offer that they introduced a few months back. Second, there’ a viral pass-along discount offer that subscribers can share with friends and family. And third, the Thank-a-Mom Movement campaign is interesting in that it incorporates cause marketing as a reward for engagement. Here’s the email:
